Young broke the news on ESPN today, announcing that he has signed a multi-year extension with Adidas. His signature sneaker, the Trae Young 1, is expected to arrive in the fall 2021 season.

Young says he was “very involved” in the shoe making process. âI want this shoe to represent me, I want this shoe to represent who I am. This shoe is going to do that. Every kid who puts on this shoe, every person who plays with this shoe is going to feel what I feel.
