NEW DELHI: OnePlus is set to launch its new smartphone in India this week. The company will launch the affordable OnePlus NordCE 2 5G smartphone in the country on February 17. OnePlus has scheduled an online launch event, where it will launch the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G smartphone and the OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge. Now ahead of the official launch, the smartphone maker has confirmed some of the specs of the upcoming OnePlus Nord smartphone.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G confirmed specs
OnePlus has revealed that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will come with a new color option called Bahama Blue. The smartphone will sport a triple rear camera setup. The rear camera is said to feature a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera.
OnePlus also revealed that the Nord CE 2 5G will come with 65W Super VOOC charging support. The company claims that the smartphone can deliver up to 1 day of battery life with 15 minutes of charging. The smartphone is also confirmed to have a 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card slot.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G expected specs
OnePlus Nord CE2 5G is said to have a Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The smartphone is expected to come with a Fluid AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The mid-range smartphone is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core processor paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM. The handset is said to come in two storage variants – 128GB and 256GB.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is said to run the Android 12 operating system, topped with the company’s own OxygenOS 12 layer.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

A recent online report revealed that the company might price the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant at less than Rs 28,000.
