The adidas YEEZY 450 “Dark Slate” was first unveiled in March and will finally be released tomorrow, June 25th.
While not as tonal as initially described, the future pair indulges in a stealthy look that is reminiscent of some of the more popular YEEZY banner options (i.e. MNVN, 350). The Primeknit sock-like design pairs well with the aesthetic of the blanket, which is interrupted slightly by a shade of dark brown at the heel. The one-piece soles retain their jarring appearance, but they blend in more with their surroundings than with the inaugural “Cloud White†colourway. Together, each aforementioned component makes one of Kanye West’s most controversial designs much more palatable, but some wild makeovers appropriate to the eye-catching silhouette are sure to be on the way.
