adidas Y-3 UltraBOOST 22 Release Information

adidas and Yohji Yamamoto have a long-standing relationship after launching the collaborative sub-label Y-3 in 2002, and he’s since reinterpreted many of the Three Stripes’ iconic designs – like the Superstar more recently and many 4D racers – but now , it returns to the UltraBOOST for 2022.

Y-3’s UltraBOOST 22 comes in “Black/Core White/Chalk Pearl,” combining a laceless, sock-like Primeknit upper with technical rubber detailing for an aesthetic rarely found on this silhouette. The result is something akin to the legendary Y-3 Qasa, as elastic straps wrap over the shoe’s throat and along the mid-panels to create a snug fit.

Also similar to the Qasa, the UltraBOOST 22’s contrast heel tab is detailed with Y-3 branding, sitting atop the UltraBOOST branded heel clip. Completing the rear is a fabric tongue that extends from the collar, while a full-length BOOST midsole fitted with a Continental rubber outsole in a light gum hue completes the pair.

The adidas Y-3 “Black/Core White/Chalk Pearl” UltraBOOST 22 costs 230 GBP (around 310 USD) and is available to buy now on adidas website.
