James Harden is here to earn it, taking a relatively large pay cut to stay with the Philadelphia Sixers and offering salary cap flexibility to sign key players for a championship run. All eyes will indeed be on Philly in the 2022-23 season as Harden and MVP runner-up Joel Embiid get to play a full season together, and needless to say, anything short of the Finals could be considered a disappointment.
Joining James in his fourteenth NBA season will be his next signature shoe – the adidas Harden Vol. 7. Seen here at one of Darico Hines’ Open Races, the seventh signature model is revealed in a purple and black colourway and sporting an all-new redesign. Sticking to a low-cut design, the Harden 7 features a distinct quilted stitching on the upper and a three-stripe logo on the heel, running up from the heel to the achilles. The Harden Vol. 7 is definitely a throwback for the adidas Basketball brand, moving away from the chiseled midsole construction and opting for a more streamlined and aerodynamic look. As far as tech specs go, the Harden Vol 7 is likely to use BOOST cushioning, a staple in the Harden lineup.
